WHO WE ARE

For Three Generations,
Nelson Glass Has Been Shaped By Family.

Fathers and sons, brothers and cousins, uncles and nephews have passed down a craft, a standard, and a shared pride in doing things the right way. What began as a small glass shop has grown into a trusted glazing company serving the Southeast, built on craftsmanship, integrity, and relationships that last.

SINCE 1966

The Story of Our Legacy

  • 1966

Founded in 1966 by Fred A. Nelson Sr. and his son-in-law Frank A. Dickinson Sr. in Birmingham, Alabama, our company began with one simple principle: delivering honest, quality work.

  • 1975

Fred A. Nelson Jr. became a partner alongside Frank A. Dickinson Sr., marking the next generation’s leadership and strengthening the company’s foundation for continued growth.

A Family Tradition

Today, our family continues that legacy, working side by side across generations and carrying forward the values set in place nearly sixty years ago. It’s a rare kind of closeness, one that shapes who we are, how we work, and the standard we bring to every project. What they built then still defines how we operate now.

We carry that work forward with our own experience, dedication, and pride, strengthening the legacy that began in 1966. We’re the hands and voices behind every project, committed to the same honesty and quality that laid our foundation.
