Meet the team

Thomas N. Dickinson

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Tommy began his career with Nelson Glass in 2003, learning the business from the inside out as both a project manager and estimator. Over time, he helped strengthen preconstruction services, refine project planning, and support large commercial builds, contributing to the company’s continued growth. Now serving as CEO, he oversees the strategic direction of Nelson Glass and leads all preconstruction efforts full-time, bringing focused oversight, unwavering integrity, and a commitment to quality that ensures every project begins with clear expectations and dependable execution.

Frank A. Dickinson Jr.

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Bubba has been part of Nelson Glass for over four decades, starting his full-time career in 1986 as a glazier’s apprentice. He advanced through the field as a finished glazier and superintendent, gaining deep practical experience with complex installations and jobsite coordination. As COO, he draws on that experience to oversee all field operations, leading a dedicated team and ensuring every project is carried out safely, efficiently, and with the steady leadership he’s known for.

Fred A. Nelson III

PRESIDENT

Freddie joined Nelson Glass in 2003, building his expertise through hands-on project management, estimating, and day-to-day coordination for commercial clients. Over the years, he has led some of the company’s largest and most complex projects, strengthening workflows, improving communication across teams, and ensuring details are executed with precision. In his role as President, he continues to manage major projects firsthand while guiding client relationships and project planning, bringing clarity, thoughtful solutions, and field-proven experience that keep every phase moving smoothly from start to finish.

Mark A. Nelson

VICE PRESIDENT

Mark has been part of Nelson Glass since 2008, bringing a background in commerce, administration, and Green-Advantage certification to the company’s estimating and project management efforts. Over the years, he has helped refine bidding processes, strengthen planning workflows, and support clear communication between office and field teams. As Vice President, he provides organized, detail-focused leadership that guides each project with structure and confidence.

Frank A. Dickinson III

GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT

Frank began his career with Nelson Glass gaining hands-on experience in the field and learning the craft through day-to-day work on commercial and residential installations. Working alongside Bubba and other seasoned glaziers, he developed a strong understanding of jobsite coordination, safety, and efficient project flow. Now serving as General Superintendent, Frank leads on-site teams, supports project execution, and ensures each installation is carried out with steady oversight, clear communication, and the highest quality workmanship.

John Edward Dorsett III

PROJECT MANAGER

Foo first stepped into his role at Nelson Glass in 2017 by supporting project coordination and gaining hands-on experience across both the office and field. Working closely with Freddie, Mark, and the field supervisory team, he developed a strong understanding of the day-to-day flow of commercial and residential projects. Now serving as a Senior Project Manager, Foo helps guide jobs from planning through completion, ensuring each one moves forward with clear expectations, organized execution, and consistent follow-through.

Fred A. Nelson Jr. dedicated five decades to leading Nelson Glass as Chief Executive Officer, guiding the company through significant growth while maintaining its commitment to craftsmanship, integrity, and service. His vision and leadership helped strengthen Nelson Glass's reputation as one of the Southeast's leading glazing contractors, and his legacy continues through the people, projects, and values that shape the company today.

Frank A. Dickinson Sr.

PRESIDENT | 1966 — 2016

Frank A. Dickinson Sr. served as President of Nelson Glass for 50 years, playing a pivotal role in the company's growth and operational excellence. Known for his steady leadership, commitment to quality, and dedication to employees and customers alike, Frank helped establish the culture and values that continue to define Nelson Glass today.


The legacy of Frank and Fred lives on in every member of the Nelson Glass team and in the values that continue to guide the company forward.
